Roscommon Golf Club

An 18 hole championship course set among the rolling hills and mature trees on the south side of the town. A par 72 with a distance of 6067 metres the course also boasts a clubhouse with full bar and catering facilities.

Ireland is a popular fishing destination and the many rivers and lakes of the midlands offer a host of excellent fishing opportunities. And Ross House provides storage for your wet gear!

Roscommon Castle
 

This 13th century Norman castle overlooks the town park and provides a striking backdrop to the 14 acres of recreational space just a short walk from the centre of town.

Fancy a swim, steam, sauna or workout? Roscommon Leisure Centre is a minute's walk from the town square and provides a fun and healthy environment to relax in. 

​Roscommon Lamb Festival



A celebration of lamb with a host of food, farming and craft events over the course of the May bank holiday weekend. A unique, family-friendly festival.

​Lough Key Forest Park



A collection of fun activities, including a tree-top canopy walk, in a spectacular location on the shores of Lough Key in the north of the county. Always worth a visit.
